On October 7, 2021, the Federal Trade Commission announced that it had sent [Notices of Penalty Offenses](https://www.ftc.gov/enforcement/penalty-offenses) to [70 postsecondary institutions](https://www.ftc.gov/system/files/attachments/penalty-offenses-concerning-education/higher_ed_notice_recipient_list.pdf).
